How long does a partner visa application take?

Partner visa processing currently ranges from 12 to 24 months or longer for the temporary (subclass 820) stage, with the permanent (subclass 801) stage assessed approximately two years after the initial application.

You need to demonstrate a genuine and continuing relationship through evidence across four categories: financial aspects, nature of the household, social aspects, and commitment to each other.

Many temporary visa holders are eligible to transition to permanent residency through employer sponsorship, skilled migration, or other pathways. We assess your eligibility and recommend the most effective route.

Generally, you must have been a permanent resident for at least 12 months, lived in Australia for at least four years, be of good character, and have a basic knowledge of English and Australian civics.

Yes. We advise on contributory and non-contributory parent visa options, prepare applications, and manage the process -including balance of family test assessments and assurance of support arrangements.
